Make money on the internet with affiliate programs has been my 2nd choice when it comes to make money online for me. Of course, my first choice is Google Adsense. The fundamental of achieving success with affiliate marketing (programs) is to have tons of traffic for your website. I previously wrote an article on “Top 4 Ways To Make Money On The Internet Using Your Blog” which shares with you my other money making programs as well.

The reason is because your affiliate sales will depend very much on the number of times (impressions) your affiliate product get exposed to your visitors. The greater the number of impressions, the higher the chance a sales gets closed.

Since affiliate marketing are getting more and more popular to make money on the internet well, I think I should write an article on some of my favorite programs to share with you.

1. Commission Junction -The largest affiliate program in North America operating worldwide and powering almost 50% of the top 500 web retailers affiliate marketing programs. Popular customers include Buy.com, Yahoo and Circuit City.

2. Amazon – Previously famous online bookstore now diversified to product lines like VHS, DVDs, music CDs, MP3, computer software, video games, electronics etc. Comes with Amazon Associates Program that let you earns up to 15% in referral commissions by advertising Amazon’s products. Comes with Amazon aStore that allows associates to configure an entire online store in a few easy steps.

3. ClickBank – An affiliate program that deals mostly with informational products such as ebooks and softwares (around 10,000 products). Publishers prefer ClickBank because Clickbank makes their entire process of earning affiliate commission completely transparent. Earns as much as 75% per sale, as well as recurring revenue from subscription products.

4. Shopzilla – A leading comparison shopping service for the lowest prices, check store ratings & read product reviews before consumers decide to buy. Currently, the program is in the beta stage of having its publisher program that allows website publishers to make money on the internet by displaying sponsored shopping content on their site.

Should You Promote Business Through Social Networking Sites

Nov 4th, 2008 Posted in Home Business | no comment »

Mike Claggett asked:

Networking whether for socializing or for business is what makes the world go around. Not Love. Well love keeps it positive and interesting, but without socializing, love doesn’t have a chance. Don’t think so? Then how do you explain sites like MySpace has literally millions of users and all of the on line dating sites combined have less.

Do you know what the main purpose of a social networking website is? If you are an avid internet user, it’s you likely do. Social networking websites are online communities that make it easier for internet users to meet and communicate with each other. If you are an internet user who enjoys using the internet to meet new people, there is a good chance that you already belong to a social networking website. What about an online blog? Do you have a blog? In a way, your blog is like having your own personal social networking site. If you have a blog, do you know that you could use your social networking website to promote your blog?

The goal of most business owners is to make a profit. There are of course a few that have business web sites only to support their products or provide information. But for the purposes of this article, I’ll only be talking about sites with the primary purpose of making money. Obviously the hope of the site/business owner is to generate income from the selling of a particular product or service. However, to sell that product or service business owners need to alert the general public and preferably a targeted portion of the public at large (Thier niche), to the availability of their products or services. Customers cannot buy a product or a service if they do not know that it exists. Obviously that’s why, as a business owner, you need to advertise your business.

When it comes to advertising there are many business owners who literally cringe at the thought of putting together an advertising or marketing plan or campaign. Have you planned your campaign and are you working your plan? Is it costing you more than your are making? There is a good chance it is because most traditional advertising methods cost money. Many cost a LOT of money.

As a business owner you want to make a profit and not spend any more than is absolutely necessary to make the profit you want/need to, right? Fortunately, if you believe that all forms of advertising take money, you’ll be glad to know you are mistaken. Although you may have to spend some money to make your business as profitable as you want it to be, there are ways to promote your business and the products or services that you sell without having to spend any money at all.

Promote your blog through your social networking site and vice versa? Why would you want to do that? Honestly, in this day and age, if your in business and have to ask yourself that question you probably need to look into the upside of owning operating your own blog and reciprocally linking with one or more of your own social networking site pages. The whole purpose of a blog is to document your thoughts, views, and opinions on a particular topic, issue, or subject to boost your credibility in the eyes of your reader as an authority on what you write about. What good will your blog do if no one reads it. Social networking sites are a way to get readers for your blog.

Is your curiosity peaked yet? There is a good chance that it is and rightfully so. One of the ways that you can promote your online business, without having to spend a dime, is by using something that is readily available online. That thing is an online social networking website. A large number of internet users, in fact literally millions of them, belong to at least one social networking website, if not several.

When it comes to promoting blogs, there are many blog owners who decide to let the search engine do the work for them. Search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN use special techniques that read/scan the content on your website. That content is then used in part to link your blog website with particular keywords. This means that you run a blog on graduating from high school in New York, there is a good chance that your blog will appear in searches done on New York high schools.

Although many blogs are successfully ranked in search engines, not all are. That is why you are advised against relying solely on search engines, when it comes to promoting your blog. There are other ways to promote your blog besides social networking, such as “blog and ping” or “Tag and Ping” but I’ll leave those subjects for another article you can find at my blog.

When it comes to social networking, there are many individuals who think of building new online friendships or online relationships. While these types of relationships are the most common, did you know that social networking is also used for businesses? A lot of businesses? In fact, that was originally how social networking got started.

As previously mentioned, if you love meeting with or talking to people online, there is a good chance that you belong to a social networking website or community. The individuals that you talk with and that are in your community are likely the individuals that you wish to target. Since most social networking websites work to connect internet users who have the same goals and common interests, there is a good chance that your online friends will enjoy reading your blog. But, before they can read your blog, you have to let them know that it exists.

Although social networking websites are traditionally focused on those that would like to make online friends or develop online relationships, there are networking sites that are designed primarily for business owners. Ryze.com is a good example. These websites will not only allow you to share your business information with other business owners, but it will also allow you to develop close relationships with those that share an interest that is similar to yours. Essentially, this means that you could not only learn valuable business information, but you could also walk away with a new business partner, a new friend or a business prospect.

When it comes to promoting your blog on social networking websites, you have a number of different options. Your first option is to include a link to your blog in your community profile or profile page on your social networking site. This will allow other community members to checkout your blog, only if they wish to do so.

The other way is to inform your online friends of your blog through Private Messages (Or PM’s). Once you join a social networking website and create or join a network of friends, you should easily be able to communicate with those friends. Sending each of your friends a private message with information and a link to your blog tends to be more effective than just placing a link in your profile or on your profile page. As well, a PM is more personal. Naturally, you will want to offer the link to your blog in a kind of “Oh, by the way”, fashion or maybe asking their opinion of one of your recent or past blog posts. The last thing you want to do is make it appear you are soliciting your new friend.

As previously mentioned, social networking websites with a focus on businesses, are a great way to promote your business. However, this does not mean that you should completely forget about the other online social networking websites, the ones that are designed to make online friendships. Although you may not learn any valuable business tips by joining “Yahoo! 360″ or “MySpace”, if you are subtle in your approach, you may be able to end up with new customers and new customers is exactly what your business needs.

As you will see, there are like minded people that will join an online community to make friends and or to learn more about what they are interested in from the people they meet in a social networking community regardless whether it is business related or not. There are a number of different ways that you will to go about promoting your own profile or profile page so as to not appear as though you are actually advertising. If you are planning on joining a traditional online social networking website, to gain access to millions of potential new customers, you are urged to be careful when making your online Social Networking webpage or profile. One thing that internet users hate is being solicited for business using the guise of wanting to make friends.

This does not mean that you cannot use social networking to your advantage; it just means that you need to be careful with how you do it. Instead of creating a “MySpace” page or a “Yahoo! 360″ page for your business, you are advised to make one for and about yourself, but, of course, you will want to include information on your business as part of your ‘interests’. You never know, but, in addition to promoting your blog, you may also make new friends along the way as well by linking to your social networking profile page from your blog.

By joining a social networking website, especially one that is popular and has a large number of members, you should be able to generate interest in your business, including the products or services that you sell. If your social networking friends are interested in the same things as you, and your blog and is compelling enough to drive your social networking friends to your business site, that interest generated traffic could turn into sales; thus making your social networking experience more than worth your time and effort.

After all, it’s FREE, it’s easy, there is the potential of making additional profits doing it, and it can be a lot of FUN! There is nothing quite like making more money and having fun doing it.

Social Networking: the Five Biggest Mistakes Nichepreneurs™ Make

Nov 3rd, 2008 Posted in Home Business | no comment »
social network
Susan Friedman asked:

Over half of all Americans between the ages of 15-34 consider themselves active social network users. They regularly visit well-known social networking sites, such as MySpace or Facebook, or log onto specialty social networks, like Ravelry (devoted to the fiber arts) or GroupRecipes (for the foodie set). While industry research tells us that television watching is declining, especially among this age group, social network use is on the rise: average users spend seven to eight hours a week online.

This time spent on social networks clearly affects buying decisions. An estimated forty percent of all social networkers say they use social networking sites to learn more about brands or products they like, according to GreenBiz.com, with twenty-eight percent saying they’ve had a brand or product recommended to them by a friend.

The message is clear. Strategic use of social networking can help a company grow. It’s an effective use of target marketing, reaching out to one’s customers where they are.

However, in order to capitalize on social networking’s power, you have to do it right. Execution is everything. Make no mistake. Every time you log onto Facebook, MySpace, or other social networking platform, you’re representing your company in a very visible arena. The world is, quite literally, watching.

There are five common mistakes Nichepreneurs™ make when it comes to social networking. Here’s what they are — and more importantly, how to avoid them!

Mistake #1: Dismissing Social Networking as “Just a Fad”

Social networking may have emerged as a phenomenon only recently, but it is a manifestation of something as old as time — word of mouth! Customers value the opinions of colleagues, relatives, peers and friends above almost anything else. This has been true for generations. Social networking has merely expanded the definition of friend. Technology has made it easier to communicate with more people than ever before — a person could have hundreds of friends they’ve never once met in person. That’s a power and a privilege that no one is going to let just fade away.

Mistake #2: Mistaking Social Networking for Advertising

Social networking is a form of relationship marketing. It works best when you view it as an opportunity to build your brand, a prime platform to let your customer base know who you are and what you represent.

At the same time, you’ve got a fantastic chance to learn about your customers. If you actually stop and read what they post, you’ll learn a tremendous amount about who your customers are and what’s important to them. Where else do you get your customer’s pure, unvarnished opinions served up to you on a silver platter?

Don’t spoil this prime market research opportunity with unwelcome advertising. It’s fine to let people know you’re in business, but that can’t be the only thing you bring to the conversation.

Mistake #3: Failing to Connect Online Interaction with Real World Consequences

This mistake is often a generational problem. Nichepreneurs who grew up before the Internet was such an omnipresent force can have a hard time understanding how words on a computer screen can have real consequences on the every day course of business.

Compounding the problem is the fun, freewheeling atmosphere prevalent on many social networking platforms. It’s easy to forget the potential results when the commentary’s flying fast and furious. However, your words can come back and haunt you later. Remember — it all counts! The days where an organization can dismiss poor behavior with “It’s just the internet” are long gone!

Mistake #4: Using Sock Puppets

Sock puppets is the term applied to social networking accounts that are created with the intent of hiding the poster’s true identity. Individuals often create sock puppets in an effort to avoid the real life consequences discussed in mistake number three!

Sock puppets can be used to boost, support, or defend a company’s position. Conversely, they can be used to tear down, disparage, or make negative commentary about a competitor’s organization, products, or services.

Either way, it is a bad idea! Many denizens of social networks are incredibly tech-savvy, and it won’t take them long at all to discover who is really behind a string of negative or hostile commentary. Exposure can be a public relations nightmare.

Honesty is the best policy. Either be willing to own your commentary, by posting under your own identity, or don’t say them at all!

Mistake #5: Overestimating Social Networking’s Role

Social networking is powerful. It is influential. It is, in many cases, free to participate in. However, it is NOT the end all, be all solution to your marketing needs. While it is tempting to try to solve many of your marketing challenges with social networking, it is important to remember that social networking is a tool, not the only tool.

Use social networking efforts to augment your existing marketing efforts. There are small, start up companies that market themselves solely via social networking. However, this is a self-limiting strategy: even if you reach every single person on that network, you’re still missing out on a large number of potential customers who never log on.

Keep your perspective. Social networking might not eat into your budget, but it does take time. Realize that at best, social networking can significantly augment and enhance your marketing and promotional efforts — but it will never wholly replace it!

How To Set-Up An Interactive Social Network Site That Draws Hundreds Of Daily Unique Visitors

Nov 3rd, 2008 Posted in Home Business | no comment »
social network
Frasier Smith asked:

In 2006, Google spent around $1.6 Billion to acquire YouTube – one of the most prolific interactive websites around was gobbled up by the biggest dot com in the world. What’s remarkable is that YouTube wasn’t earning anything near an income worthy of comment and it still isn’t. Google bought it for two reasons – first, the massive subscriber base that YouTube had, and second, YouTube is a new breed of interactive site that Google believes is the future of the internet. Google have spent more money researching this than you and I will ever have in our banks so you need to pay attention to this fledgling trend before it transforms into a cash-yielding craze (it will, by which time you risk missing the boat).

Interactive websites are hot, getting hotter – and in a moment I’ll show you how you can OWN an interactive site in the niche of your choice without spending a hell of a lot (indeed, if you’re a DRR member, you’ll get this as part of your membership). First, consider these rather interesting tid-bits of information:

- YouTube gets over 100 million downloads of its videos every single day.

- The site was founded in 2005 and within two year it’s creators became multi-millionaires. Ironically, all they did was understand that social networking sites (the same type of site you’ll be owning) were the future and created a simple site that allows users to upload/download videos, rate things & add comments. What you really *must* take on board here is that there will be several micro-sites like YouTube popping up in just about every niche around. Internet marketing, business, franchising, travel, real estate… everything. For most of these niches, dominant social networking sites have not yet been established. The field is open for you to get out there and make your mark.

Now, let’s look at what social networking is and how you might be able to use it to attract targeted traffic in droves:

Social networking. We have all likely heard of it before, but not everyone knows what it means? If you were asked to define what social networking was, would you be able to give an accurate definition? Unfortunately, most individuals cannot, even though it is likely that they participate in some form of social networking, especially online.

Social networking is defined as the grouping of individuals together into to specific groups, often like a small community or a neighborhood. Although social networking is possible in person, especially in schools or in the workplace, it is most popular online. This is because unlike most high schools, colleges, or workplaces, the Internet is filled with millions, if not more, of individuals who are looking to meet other Internet users and develop friendships.

When it comes to social networking online, websites are used. These websites are known as social networking websites. Social networking websites are, in a way, like an online community of Internet users. Depending on the social networking website in question, many of these online community members share a common bond, whether that bond be hobbies, religion, or politics. Once you are granted access to a social networking website you can begin to socialize. This socialization may include reading the profiles or profile pages of other members or even contacting them.

The friends that you can make are just one of the many benefits to social networking online. Another one of those benefits includes diversity. Unlike in most schools or workplaces, the Internet gives individuals, from all around the world, access to social networking sties. This means that although you are in the United States, you could develop an online friendship with someone in Japan. Not only will you make a new friend, you but may also learn a thing or two about a new culture.

As previously mentioned, social networking often involves grouping specific individuals or organizations together. While there are a number of social networking websites that focus on particular Internets, there are others that do not. These websites are often deemed traditional social networking websites. These types of websites typically have an open membership. This means that anyone can become a member, no matter what their hobbies, beliefs, or views are. However, once you are inside this online community, you can begin to create your own network of friends; thus eliminating others that do not meet your criteria.

If networking on the Internet sounds like something you would be interested in, you are encouraged to learn more about it, such as the dangers of social networking. These dangers often involve online predators or individuals who claim to be someone that they are not. Although danger does exist with networking online, it also exists with networking out in the real world. As when you are meeting friends at a bar, school, or work, you are advised to proceed with caution online. By being aware of your surroundings and who you are talking to, you should be able safely enjoying social networking online.

Once you have learned everything that you feel you need to learn, about social networking online, you can begin to search for networking communities to join.

Let’s move on now to how social networking websites can help your business website promotion.

A large number of Internet users run their own personal websites, but others run their websites as a way to make money. Of course, any website owner wishes to promote their online website, but those who rely on their websites for income are more willing to. Whichever type of website you have, did you know that you could help to promote it with online social networking websites?

If you are wondering how and why you should use social networking websites to promote your online website, you are not alone. A fairly large numbers of Internet users aren’t even sure what social networking sites are or how they work. Online social networking websites are like online communities. They give Internet users an easy and fairly safe way to come together. Many social networking websites are designed to make it easier for you to search for and make contact with other Internet users, especially those that you have something in common with.

With a fairly large number of social networking websites, including MySpace, having over a millions users, there is a good chance that you could not only make new friends, but find Internet users that would be interested in visiting your online website, especially if that website is your personal website. When joining an online networking community, you should be given your own profile page. On this page you could not only describe yourself, your online website. By mentioning what your personal online webpage is all about and providing a link, you should receive a number of new visitors.

As previously mentioned, social networking websites can benefit all website owners, but especially those who are looking to make a profit with their websites. This can be done one of two ways, by selling something or by relying on revenue from advertising. If you have a website that selling products or services, you may find it a little bit easier to use social networking sites to your advantage. This is because, if you wish, you could do product or service spotlights. Each day, week, or month, you could showcase one of the products or services that your website sells. This could either be done right on your profile page or on a blog page, which is provided by most social networking websites.

If you are using your online website to make money with advertising programs, such as affiliate programs or Google Adsense, you may need to approach social networking websites in a different matter. Since you will not necessarily have a particular product or service to focus on, you will need to approach these websites as if they were personal websites. If your website discusses being a dog owner, it may be a good idea to state your love for dogs in your profile. After doing so, it would be acceptable and not necessarily considered spam to add a link to your online website. As with all other types of online websites, social networking websites should help to increase the number of page views your website receives. In most cases, more page views mean more clicks which means money for you.

As you can easily see, there are a number of different ways that you can promote your online website, no matter what type of website you have or what you use it for. By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should be able to see an increase in your page views, in no time at all.

Research First Before Starting a Social Networking Website

Nov 3rd, 2008 Posted in Home Business | no comment »
social network
Ron McNeil asked:

With the popularity of social networking software and websites growing at such tremendous rates, designing and starting your own website may seem like a glorious idea! After all, current statistics show that the popular online community, MySpace, receives more visitors a day than Google, a very popular search engine. However, before you make any final decisions about starting a virtual community offering social network software, it is important to first do some research of your own.

Online community network is more than just building friendship, or relationship for that matter. It helps in building communication with people, and this could be utilized to your business benefits. To do that, you would need to provide the features for creation of stronger networking ties between people, and when such ties develop, your customer base increases, building up a brand for your social networking site.

One good way to research to determine which types of social networking software are most popular with internet users, is to preview different community software tools for you. You may need to become a registered member of several different online communities in order to test out the social network software tools provided by each website. In most online communities, the basic networking tools, to aid in communication, are offered with a free membership. However, in some online communities, advanced social networking software tools are provided against a small monthly fee. Either way, it is a good idea to try the different software, prior to starting a social networking website. In doing so, you will be building knowledge to help you determine which type of community software tools you wish to provide.

Another way you should consider researching before starting a social networking website that offers community software tools is to read about some of the current most popular networking websites, and determine what keeps them so popular. Communicating with different members of the most popular online communities is a great way to determine factors that keep particular communities so popular. Be sure to ask a lot of questions, and you’ll likely be surprised how many people are eager to answer.

In starting a social networking site, it is very important for you to have a plan for targeting the right people in the community. The choice of social network software would allow you to put in features, which would be appropriate for the people that you would want to join your network. For example, instead of career and school sections, you could have the interactive game feature, aiming to build the brain strength of your members. Your social networking software may also provide news on entertainment, a hobby section for older people, and tips how to keep healthy. It could have forums, where members would discuss regarding the relevant matters, and a place for blogging, which the members could use as journals. There would of course be a space provided to your members to put up their profiles, which form an important part in such social networking scenario. You could also consider putting in a profile tracker feature, by which the members would know how many times his profile has been viewed.

The social network software that you choose would mostly depend upon your plan of approach for the networking site that you have in mind. After choosing the kind of people that you would want to target, you need to have a clear conception on what you are going to provide in the site. This would determine the choice of your social network software. Your social networking site may allow the member groups, which would perhaps include business groups and others, to create online communities, and this could be provided free. This would provide the initial member base, to create vast numbers of community network by inviting friends.

By starting a social networking site, you would benefit from the growing customer base that the social networking software would build up for you. This would create your own brand, expand your customer base, increase traffic to the online communities of your web site, boost your revenue, and increase market differentiation. Your social networking site should have enough features to retain the customers, and you should have a plan to add more and more features, as your customer base grows.

One fact remains – social network software continues to grow in popularity, and the growth is predicted to continue. Since the development of the first social networking website in 1995, more and more people are finding themselves becoming actively involved in different online communities. Starting your own social networking website may be a great idea, but you should do extensive research before making any final decisions.

Make Money Typing Online With Bloggeroftheweb Dot Com asked:

Tired of seeing tons of opportunities that offer to make money through online typing by spending less than a few hours a day on the internet and make a substantial income from it? Well, I wouldn’t say all are scams as some truly work. However, those that work pretty well usually require much hard work and research.

So what I am going to share with you here are some truly legitimate and popular ways to make money easily with online typing opportunities.

1. Make Money Through Online Ad Typing and Marketing

Such job opportunities are available based on either paid assignments or freelance (on your own). For paid assignments, advertising companies would usually reward you for typing online advertisement content and marketing the ads for them. You will be guided on how to type a good ad and show where to market it.

For freelance based, you type your own ad and market your the ad on your own. You can choose to market with classified ads or your own website. In most cases, you get rewarded with commissions through completed sale of advertisers’ product or services. This form of opportunity is also known as an affiliate program. In my next article, I will share with you the some “free” methods to market your affiliate products or services effectively.

2. Make Money Through Typing And Filling Up Surveys Online

Your opinions are very important to some of the online survey companies out there. They would generally reward you to complete surveys online and the amount rewarded would usually depend on how long the survey is. In fact, most of the time you would find your life easy by just clicking on the questionnaire instead of typing online. Though most of them pay very little (eg. $1 for a 5-10mins survey), it is still considered good money for you since you don’t pay anything to sign up with them. My next few articles will share with you some great opportunities on this.

3. Make Money Through Article Typing And Submission Online

You can easily make money by typing and submitting unique articles to some popular online article submission websites. You will get rewarded once your articles get approved. I shall not elaborate more as I have previously written an article “Make Money Easily By Typing Online” on this. You may like to have a read on them.

With so many online typing scams out there to make you sign up with a heavy fee yet disappoint you with little or no result, it is pretty tough to find the genuine ones nowadays. All you need to do is to learn and know how to identify the legitimate ones. Keep your faith by continue to research on. Once you found a few good ones, keep working with them like what I do and continue with your research. This is how to make a decent residual income from it.

Dane Phillip asked:

While doing some research on social networking domain, found some interesting figures to share, which will surely drive the social networking development companies.

Market at a glance-

The market for the internet and social networking communities is estimated at about USD 1500M this year.

Social network/Community development and enhancement individually by 2006 stood at USD 700M and is estimated to touch USD 4000M by 2010.

The top 3 player in the market are Myspace, Facebook and Bebo with market shares 80.74%, 10.32%, 1.18% respectively.( data is based on custom category of 20 of the leading social networking websites ranked by market share of visits, which is the percentage of traffic to the site, based on Hitwise sample of 10 million US Internet users. The percentages represent the market share of visits among the websites within the custom category.)

Growth Path-

Social networking sites are growing 47% year on year increasing from an audience of 46.8 million to 68.8 million in April 2006.

Social networking sites are the reality of the Internet; the content is relatively inexpensive for publishers to produce.

It will become more ingrained in mainstream sites, just as reality TV shows. MySpace.com, the top Social Networking site of all in terms of number of registered users, saw a staggering 367% increase. The graph is still increasing with many more Social Networking players jumping in; the web scene seems set just right for Social Networking.

The social networking sites that are seeing strong growth have developed a unique online presence which is refreshed by user generated content. This promotes ongoing consumers interest and visitor loyalty. The market share of Internet visits to the top 20 social networking websites grew by 11.5 percent from January to February 2007, to account for 6.5 percent of all Internet visits in February 2007.

Mobile Social networking- The next Destination

Social networking is going mobile and is poised for spectacular growth over the next five years, mobile social communities will be attracting members in swarms, more than tripling in size from 50 millions to 174 millions by 2011.

For the moment, MySpace and Facebook are hot. News Corp. paid $580 million last year for MySpace as part of a $1.3 billion Internet acquisition spree. Facebook just received an additional $25 million in venture capital.

Both companies are planning to extend their reach beyond the computer screen to cell phones.

Cingular Wireless, Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wireless are starting a service that will allow users to post messages on Facebook’s home pages or search for other users’ phone numbers and email addresses from a cell phone.

MySpace has a pact with Helio, a wireless joint venture between SK Telecom and Earthlink, which will allow users to send photos and update their blogs or profiles by cell phone.

Advertising-

Social networks are an integral part of the cultural fabric of the internet and their rapidly growing and demographically appealing audience has attracted the attention of advertisers.

According to the latest forecasts, marketers will pony up an estimated $280 M in the USA to advertise.

By 2010, the online advertising spend will grow to $1.8 billion.

Marketer estimates that the social networking ad spend of the USA will rise to $260 million in 2007(up from $95 million in 2006), and by 2010 is expected to reach $665 million.

Advantages-

Advertising on social networks will teach marketers important ways to reach newly-empowered consumers.

Social networks will have an incalculable influence on all advertising, both online and offline.

If companies can go even deeper to develop marketing efforts that fully embrace the “one-to-one-to-many nature of social networks, ad revenues will soar. This way of advertising will spill over into other channels. The underlying concept will influence the way advertising is done in all media, not just online.

3 Effective Tips to Make Money Typing Online

Make Money Typing Online With Bloggeroftheweb Dot Com asked:

Many programs like eHow and Associated Content allow you to make money typing and submitting articles online. Previously I have written an article on “Make Money Easily By Typing Online With Associated Content” which has been receiving rather good response and a decent Google Page Rank of 2. I believe my fellow supporters out there must have been mentioning it a lot for me. Thanks to you guys and gals!

Knowing these programs and participating in them alone is not enough. You need to understand them well and know how to make the most money out of them. After doing some research, I have consolidated a few tips that would effectively make you money on the internet through typing and submitting your work.

3 Effective Tips To Make Money Typing Online

1. Quality Vs Quantity

Which is more important, Quality or Quantity? Well, if the program offers reward for every article submitted, “quantity” might be more favorable. Otherwise if the program offers CPM for every submitted article, I would recommend you to go for “quality”. What if the program offers both rewarding schemes? You should then evaluate which scheme pays better and work out your strategy.

Tip: In most cases, “quality” is better especially working with programs that have high Google Page Rank. Below pointers will share with you more.

2. Write Your Content Which Interests The Members

Content is very important when writing a quality article. It would also mean one that targets a niche that most people are interested in. Anything which concerns about making money or money saving can be considered as very “safe” niche since money is one of our main concerns in our daily life.

Tips:

- If you are writing money making related article, try to write something that can make them the most money on the internet and not just dimes.

- If you are writing money saving related article, try to write something that can help people to save money in their daily life. A very good example will be, how to use cost effective home heating alternative with pellet fuel.

3. Work On SEO For Your Article Content

Most programs that pay you to submit articles are highly ranked in search engines. Example, AssociatedContent (Google Page Rank 6). Hence, your submitted article will also rank high in search engines if you work on your SEO well. Instead of starting a website or blog and working to build Page Rank on it, why not make use of these programs to help you instead and receive more traffic for your article? With more traffic, your CPM will increase follows by your earnings too.

Tip: I have previously written a few articles on how to build SEO if you are a newbie. It might be useful for you if you know nuts about SEO.

Most programs that pay you to submit articles to them, do not allow you to include links in your content as they consider those links as advertisement links. Hence to gain back links for your own website/blog using such programs will not be possible.

social network
Ron McNeil asked:

In many instances, social networking software is taken for a medium to develop online friendships or relationships. While, such activities are common, social networking websites are also used to promote business. That was the original thought, based on which social networking was started. If you have an online business, there are ways to utilize social networking sites to your advantage. Although social networking sites are traditionally for development of friendships and online relationships, there are several of these websites catering for business owners.

These traditional websites would not only allow you to develop business relationships with other organizations, and exchange relevant business information, it would also allow you to build close relationships with the ones who share common interest with you. This varied use of a social networking site, make the users stay longer on the site, establishing their social base, which develops into groups and communities. In course of time, you not only have the knowledge of considerable business information exchanges, which you can use to your benefit, but you can perhaps get new business directions, and partnering with a new friend who you met in the network.

While you create your profile in one of the social networking websites, you should mention about the kind of business that you are in. If you are considering joining an online community, it is advantageous if you create your own profile or profile page. In case the website is of the traditional type, you need to be careful in preparing your online profile or webpage, when you are considering joining one of them. You will meet several people, and the one thing that you should remember, that internet users do not like business solicitations. This of course does not mean that you cannot use the network to your advantage. You just need to be careful on how your profile is presented.

Social networking websites are a great place to promote your business. At the same time, with business in mind, you should not give up exploring those traditional websites, which provide you with the facility to form friendships and close relationships. Although you might not learn much about any valuable business information, it just might be, that while you join the groups and communities, and spend time on these social networking websites, you may be able to get many interested in your products, turning them into your new customers. Your business strategy needs you to develop newer customers all the time, and social networking websites are the places where you can find them in plenty.

Like any other internet business, your social networking software can generate revenue for you. Many of the existing social networks are in big business and thriving from the kind of services they offer and products that they sell. They have been able to build up their customer loyalty, and have been able to retain its members. The users of these social network websites are constantly inviting their friends to join, establishing their ever growing social base, with effect that your marketing messages are being repeatedly seen by many. This builds up your brand, and as it does, the other online business get interested in advertising in your social network websites. Revenue starts to flow in.

The first and foremost strategy in having a social networking website should be to attract users to use your social networking software to build up relationships with others. The software must be able to provide tools to the users, which would help them to establish their social base, adding on members to your site by inviting their friends to join the network. Before you can think of any revenue turn-over, you must have a solid customer base. Unless you have been able to achieve customer confidence, your social network would never be a financial success.

Any social networking website should have the capability to retain its customers. This is possible only when your website meets the interest of the users. One could be that would allow the users to put up their classified advertisement free of cost, and the other could be the availability of free music library. Your social networking website should essentially allow blogging, and the use of forums will be very much of interest to any user. You may allow the users to put up their personal video clips on your website, which they can share with their friends on the network. There could be a space reserved for the users to put up their picture albums, to be shared with their friends.

The initial stages of planning a social networkin website are very critical. The thought at first has to be around the idea of retaining the users. This would need planning. Based on the plan, you should choose the right social networking software in planning your social networking website, and you must look into all aspects of how you can attract the users to spend longer time on your network. That should be a start of success.
